A man has many missed prayers; is it obligatory for him to make them up in order?
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A man has more than one missed prayer; what is the ruling on making them up in order in this case, whether it was intentional or due to ignorance?
The Shaykh : Making them up in order is obligatory, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Sahih al-Bukhari 6008. He made up the prayers in the Battle of the Trench in order. Therefore, it is obligatory for one who has missed prayers to make them up in order. However, if he was ignorant or forgot, he owes nothing.
The questioner : May Allah reward you.
The Shaykh : And Glory is Yours, O Allah, our Lord, and praise is Yours. I bear witness that there is no deity but You. I seek Your forgiveness and I repent to You.
May Allah bless you and reward you. Whoever travels a path seeking knowledge therein, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise.

offer your prayers in the way you saw me offering my prayers
