Benefits of the Hadith: (… Anas ibn Malik said)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Allahu Akbar. In this is evidence regarding the wearing of a cloak, and that there is no harm in wearing a cloak even if it has a thick border, meaning on both sides.
And in it is what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was known for in terms of good character.
And in it is also what the Bedouins were known for in terms of roughness and harshness. So this Bedouin pulled the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), meaning he gave him this strong pull until it left a mark on the skin of his shoulder (peace and blessings be upon him). And despite that, he turned to him and laughed and did not frown at him. Rather, he laughed and ordered a gift for him. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) met the ill treatment with excellence, and he met what was expected to be anger at this Bedouin with laughter at him. This is undoubtedly from the perfection of character. And the higher a man’s status, the more elevated he is in his own self, and the more he rises above trivial matters, the less these things matter to him. Because if they occur, they only occur from an ignorant person. If this man had known the status of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), would he do this action? No. But he is an ignorant person, and an ignorant person should be treated in accordance with his condition.
And likewise, a person should, as long as he knows that he is in a high status and that such a thing does not diminish his worth, be broad-minded and not be affected by these matters. And the outcome is for the righteous. Yes.
