Explanation of the Book of the Hearts-02a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Yahya ibn Musa narrated to us, saying: Waki' narrated to us, saying: Isma'il narrated to us from Qays, who said: I heard Khubab, and on that day he had applied seven cautery burns to his belly. He said: "If it were not that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us to call for death, I would have called for death. Indeed, the companions of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, and the worldly life did not diminish them in any way. And we have obtained from the worldly life what we find no place for except the earth."
