Explanation of the Book of the Hearts-07b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Sadaqah narrated to us, and 'Abdah narrated to us from Hisham from his father from A'ishah, who said: There were men from the Bedouins who were rough and came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asking him when the Hour would be. He would look at the youngest of them and say:
If this should live till he is very old, your Hour (the death of the people addressed) will take place. إن يعش هذا لا يدركه الهرم حتى تقوم عليكم ساعتكم
Sahih al-Bukhari 6511
Hisham said: He meant their death.

The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. In this hadith, the Bedouins are asking about the Hour, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) explained to them something that would be the Hour for them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed them of something in which the Hour would be for them, and that is death, because there is no difference between the Hour coming, which is the Great Resurrection, and the death of a person. For when a person dies, his deeds are cut off. For this reason, the scholars say: "Whoever dies, his Resurrection has come". So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would look at the youngest of them and say:
If this should live till he is very old, your Hour (the death of the people addressed) will take place. إن يعش هذا لا يدركه الهرم حتى تقوم عليكم ساعتكم
Sahih al-Bukhari 6511
because if he is the youngest of them and old age overtakes him, then we say that the Hour of every person...
The reciter: ...is his death.

The Shaykh : ...is his death. The Hour of every person is his death. Yes.
