Explanation of the Book of Inheritance, Fixed Punishments, and Blood Money-02a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Abu Ma'mar narrated to us, 'Abd al-Warith narrated to us, Ayub narrated to us, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: As for what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
If I were to take a Khalil from this nation (my followers), then I would have taken him (i.e., Abu Bakr), but the Islamic Brotherhood is better (or said: good) لو كنت متخذا من هذه الأمة خليلا لاتخذته، ولكن خلة الإسلام أفضل ، أو قال: خير
Sahih al-Bukhari 6738
, for he made him a father, or he said: he appointed him a father.

The Shaykh : And there is no doubt that Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) is the closest of the Companions to the truth. Abu Bakr is closer to the truth than all the Companions, and therefore we find that in tight situations, he is the most successful person in arriving at the truth.
In the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, what is well known occurred between him and 'Umar, and the truth was with Abu Bakr. In taking the ransom for the prisoners of Badr, the truth was with Abu Bakr, because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) followed him. In the death of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Abu Bakr was the one who remained steadfast, because 'Umar stood on the pulpit and said: "Whoever says that Muhammad has died, I will cut off his neck", until Abu Bakr came and steadied the people (may Allah be pleased with him). In carrying out the army of Usamah after the death of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), the truth was with Abu Bakr. And in the compilation of the Qur'an, the truth was with Abu Bakr.
So the important point is that the closest of the Companions to the truth, without doubt, is Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him).
And Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) argued that his statement was the truth by the fact that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
If I were to take a Khalil from this nation, I would have taken him لو كنت متخذا من هذه الأمة خليلا لاتخذته
Sahih al-Bukhari 3658
, as he explicitly stated on the pulpit, and he said:
The one who is most trustworthy to me in his wealth and his companionship is Abu Bakr إن أمن الناس علي في ماله وصحبته أبو بكر
Sahih Ibn Hibban 63:8
, so he is the safest of people for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in his wealth and in his companionship, and he said:
If I were to take a Khalil, I would have taken Abu Bakr لو كنت متخذا من أمتي خليلا لاتخذت أبا بكر
Sahih al-Bukhari 3656
, so he argued that the love of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for him means that he is closer to the truth.
In any case, there is no doubt that the correct and definitive statement is that the grandfather is in the position of the father. But who is the grandfather who inherits here? Give us the criterion according to what you have read in al-Burhaniyyah?
The grandfather here is the one between whom and the deceased there is no female. As for the grandfather between whom and the deceased there is a female, such as the father of the mother, this is not one of the inheriting grandfathers.
