Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I have a brother who used to pray with the congregation in the mosque, and when we moved to another house, there was no mosque in the village, and the road to the house is very difficult, with harmful animals present on this road, knowing that he is a young man. Is it permissible for him to pray at home?

The Shaykh : It is not permissible for him to pray at home if he is able to pray in the mosque. Indeed, a blind man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I am a blind man with no guide to lead me. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him:
Do you hear the call? هل تسمع النداء؟
He said: Yes. He said:
Then respond. فأجب
However, if he is unable to reach the mosque because he is sick or lame and cannot reach the mosque except with great hardship, then the congregation is dropped from him, and he prays at home due to the excuse.
