The ruling on praying at home due to the distance of the mosque

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A listener says: I live in an area that is almost far from the nearest mosques, which prevents me from performing the Fajr prayer, and I perform it at its time at home. Am I sinful?

Answer:
If the mosque is far away and you do not hear the call to prayer, you are excused. However, if you can hear the call, provided the ground is suitable and there are no sounds or anything else preventing it, then you must strive to go to the mosque.
The point is: the voice of the mu'adhdhin without a loudspeaker. If you can hear the usual voice when the sounds are quiet, then you must strive to go to the mosque; because of the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Whoever hears the call for prayer and and does not come (to the mosque for prayer), his prayer will not be accepted from him, unless he has a (legitimate) excuse.من سمع النداء، فلم يأت؛ فلا صلاة له إلا من عذر
Bulugh al-Maram 2:308
It was asked of Ibn Abbas, the narrator: What is the excuse? He said: Fear, or illness. And a blind man came to him (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I have no guide to lead me to the mosque, so do I have a dispensation to pray in my house? He said to him (peace and blessings be upon him):
Do you hear the call to prayer?هل تسمع النداء بالصلاة؟
Sahih Muslim 653
He said: Yes. He said:
Then respond.فأجب
So this is a blind man whom the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered to respond, and he has no guide to lead him, so what about the condition of the seeing and able person?!
The point is: that you must respond if you are in a place where you can hear the call to prayer, so you must respond. But if you are far away and do not hear the call to prayer, it is not obligatory for you. And if you endure the hardship and be patient, by car or on foot, then you are in great goodness, yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
