Explanation of the Book of Fitnahs and Rulings-01a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Abu al-Nu'man narrated to us, Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us from al-Ja'd Abu Usman, who said: Abu Rajā' al-'Utarīdī narrated to me, saying: I heard Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said:
Whoever notices something which he dislikes done by his ruler, then he should be patient, for whoever becomes separate from the company of the Muslims even for a span and then dies, he will die as those who died in the Pre-lslamic period of Ignorance (as rebellious sinners). من رأى من أميره شيئا يكرهه فليصبر عليه فإنه من فارق الجماعة شبرا فمات إلا مات ميتة جاهلية
Sahih al-Bukhari 7054
.

The Shaykh : Allah is the Greatest. This is like the first one, but here it says:
Whoever separates from the community من فارق الجماعة
This indicates that the community is gathering with the ruler and not splitting from him. There is no doubt that gathering with the ruler, the one in authority, and not splitting from him makes the Muslim community one community. If they split from him and every tribe has a leader who manages them and directs them, the Muslim community will be divided. By this, we know the error of what some of the brothers do when they pledge allegiance to one of them for obedience and submission, making him like the obeyed ruler. This is a religious innovation in the religion of Allah from one aspect, and a type of rebellion against the authority of the ruler from another aspect. It is true that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said that if three people go on a journey, they should appoint one of them as their leader, but this is a specific leadership for a specific task. If they did not appoint one of them to manage them during their journey, at departure, at stopping, and during a long or short stay, they would be in chaos. However, pledging allegiance to a person as a ruler, whether present or absent, and that he is to be obeyed as the ruler is obeyed, this is not permissible. This is an innovation, even in religious matters. It is an innovation from one aspect and a type of rebellion against the authority of the ruler from another aspect.
