The questioner : This man whom the Dajjal killed is not given power over him afterward; what is the manner of his not being given power over him?
The Shaykh : It is reported that his back will be a layer of brass, such that a sword cannot pierce it; the hadith came in this way. It is obligatory for us regarding such matters to believe in them. We say that he is not given power over him, but tell me: if he is not given power over him, why do people not know that he is a liar and that his affair will end? The answer to this is that he is disguised and deceptive; he may fabricate every excuse for not being given power over this man and deceive the people. The fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) is great; we ask Allah to protect us and you from it. The important point now is that the Dajjal will emerge in the last of time, when 'Isa emerges, in a valley between Sham and Iraq, from the east. Seventy thousand Jews from Isfahan will follow him.
