If they had entered it, they would never have exited it. How is that, when they interpret that they did it in obedience?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Why did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say:
If they had entered it (the fire) they would never have come out of it لو دخلوها ما خرجوا منها أبداً
Sahih al-Bukhari 7145
How is that, when they interpret that they did it in obedience?

The Shaykh : This is from the category of warning and threat. This is from the category of warning. Yes, if it happens with a person’s knowledge, he has killed himself. It is not so with ignorance. But this is from the category of caution, or it is understood that they did it knowingly, in which case they intentionally killed themselves. And whoever kills himself is punished with the Fire in the Hereafter.
