Explanation of the Book of Fitnahs and Rulings-06b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Jarrir narrated to us from Mansur from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to us, saying:
While I and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) were coming out of the mosque, we met a man at the door of the mosque. He said: O Messenger of Allah, when is the Hour? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What have you prepared for it?" The man seemed to be humbled, then he said: O Messenger of Allah, I have not prepared much fasting, prayer, or charity for it, but I love Allah and His Messenger. He said: "You will be with those you love."
.

The Shaykh : The point of this is that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) issued a ruling or a fatwa while he was coming out of the mosque into the market. This indicates what he (may Allah have mercy on him) titled the chapter with. In this hadith, there is evidence that one should not ask when the Hour is, but rather one should ask what one has prepared for the Hour. This is what is important. The important thing is to reflect on the fact that you will die in any case, not to reflect on when you will die or in what place. The most important thing is the deed and the ending. We ask Allah for a good ending for us and for you. Yes.
