جاء رجلٌ إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال: يا رسول الله! كيف تقول في رجل أحب قوما ولم يلحق بهم؟ فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: المرء مع مَن أحبAnd from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) he said:
People are like mines of gold and silver; those who were excellent in Jahiliya (during the days of ignorance) are excellent In Islam, when they have, an understanding, and the souls are troops collected together and those who had a mutual familiarity amongst themselves in the store of prenatal existence would have affinity amongst them, (in this world also) and those who opposed one of them, would be at variance with one another.
الناس معادن كمعادن الذهب والفضة ، خيارهم في الجاهلية خيارهم في الإسلام ، إذا فقهوا، والأرواح جنود مجندة ، فما تعارف منها ائتلف ، وما تناكر منها اختلفAnd from 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) he said:
I sought permission from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for 'Umrah, so he permitted me and said: Do not forget us, my brother, in your supplication. He said a word that I would not be pleased to have the world for it.
استأذنت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في العمرة فأذن لي وقال: لا تنسنا يا أُخي من دعائك ، فقال كلمة ما يسرني أن لي بها الدنياInclude me in your supplication, little brother
