The Shaykh : And peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
The questioner : Shaykh, what is the validity of the wudu of one who has applied oil to his head or placed something of oil on his body?
The Shaykh : If one has applied oil, henna, or something similar to his head, there is no harm, and he wipes over it, even if the water does not reach the hair, because this is a matter in which leniency is permitted, as evidenced by the fact that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) had his head anointed during his ihram.
And all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
And there is no question after this session, because the adhan has just been called, and we are going to the mosque, if Allah wills.
