What has harmed people today, except for this matter, is that they have immersed themselves in this world. Some have immersed themselves in the love of authority and status, some have immersed themselves in amusement and play and wasting time in things that are neither religious nor worldly benefit, some have immersed themselves in transactions and deals, and some have immersed themselves in other matters that cannot be explained here.

The Shaykh : In any case, we say that if people had been moderate in seeking this world and striven in seeking the Hereafter, they would have attained much good.
