Is a sacrificial animal with a cut ear and horn acceptable, and if the time for sacrifice arrives and a man slaughters two sacrificial animals in order to increase the meat, is that permissible?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May the mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace and the mercy of Allah.

The questioner : Shaykh, regarding sacrificial animals, if the time for sacrifice arrives, I slaughter two: one with the intention that it is a sacrifice, and one for the purpose of distributing the meat so that there is meat available in the house and for the neighbors. Am I doing the right thing, or am I wrong?
And the second thing: the goats whose ears and horns have been cut, are they sufficient and acceptable at the time of sacrifice?

The Shaykh : This is a good question. As for the first issue: the Sunnah is for a person to sacrifice one animal on behalf of himself and his household, as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do. We know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was the most noble of creation, yet he limited himself to one. So the Sunnah is better. But if you add more for the purpose you mentioned, there is no harm; it is lawful, if Allah wills.
As for what concerns the one with a cut ear and a cut horn:
The correct view is that it is permissible and acceptable, but it is disliked, because it is deficient in its creation. And
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) commanded us to seek the best of the eye and the ear. أمر النبي صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم أن نستشرف العين والأذن
meaning: we seek their nobility and their perfection. Yes, that is right.

The questioner : In our place, they cut their ears, Shaykh, so that the half is considered fair, so that it has a creation different from its natural state. Also, these goats of ours, news about them, they do this and imitate them with beads, and they put this on them and make them look nice so that they bring in 14,000.

The Shaykh : So that when the male goat sees it, it is tied up.

The questioner : No.

The Shaykh : So that it looks nice to him.

The questioner : 15,000 and 30,000, and they boast about this cutting and that it is Syrian.

The Shaykh : In any case, I heard the brother questioner just now say that there is harm in it, thirty years, it is not easy.

The questioner : The harm, Shaykh, does not compare to cutting the ear and teaching the animal.

The Shaykh : No, we mentioned it to be cautious that it does not suffer harm.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : There are things where it does not suffer harm, yes.

The questioner : Peace be upon you.

The Shaykh : And peace be upon you.

The questioner : By Allah, I came for this visit, and peace be upon you.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

The questioner : And for this session.

The Shaykh : May Allah reward you with good. You benefited, if Allah wills. Benefit from the questions, yes, good, if Allah wills.
