Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : If a Muslim enters the Eid prayer ground and prays!

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Is the prayer recommended?

The Shaykh : Yes, the Eid prayer ground?

The questioner : Yes, the Eid prayer ground.

The Shaykh : If you enter the Eid prayer ground, do not sit until you pray two rak'ahs, because it is a mosque, and the evidence that it is a mosque is:
That the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered menstruating women, when they went out to the Eid prayer, to stay away from the prayer ground. أنّ النّبيّ عليه الصّلاة والسّلام أمر الحيّض إذا خرجن إلى صلاة العيد أن يعتزلن المصلّى
, and this indicates that it is a mosque.

The questioner : Some people say, do not pray!

The Shaykh : Yes, some people say pray, and some people say do not pray, even among the scholars; some of the early scholars say pray, and some say do not pray, but we see that he should pray.

The questioner : Before the sun rises?

The Shaykh : Before the sun rises or after it, do not sit until you pray two rak'ahs.

The questioner : Was the Messenger of Allah’s (peace and blessings be upon him) prayer ground his mosque or outside?

The Shaykh : No, the Eid prayer ground in Madinah is outside the mosque, and the session ends here because the adhan has been called. We ask for the excuse of those who were not able to ask, and they may come, if Allah wills, next week.

The questioner : There are two questions ... a check.

The Shaykh : Yes, this is not permissible.

The questioner : It is not permissible?

The Shaykh : Never, Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You, we testify that there is no god but You, we seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.
