What is the ruling on the takbir (saying Allahu akbar) through loudspeakers in the congregational prayer of the two festivals?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : His EminenceThe Shaykh : What is your opinion of those who say the takbir in the mosque with a microphone on the days of the festival, and the general public say it after them?

The Shaykh : We see that this is not something that should be done.

The questioner : Is it a religious innovation?

The Shaykh : Because the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) did not say the takbir as they do in the adhan (call to prayer), meaning: they did not intentionally seek out high places to say it from. Rather, they said it in their markets, in their mosques, in their homes, and in their camps in Mina without intentionally seeking out anything high to say it from. So I fear that this falls under the category of excessive strictness (tanattu') about which the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The excessively strict ones are ruined, the excessively strict ones are ruined, the excessively strict ones are ruined هلك المتنطعون، هلك المتنطعون، هلك المتنطعون
.

The questioner : Is it a religious innovation?

The Shaykh : Excessive strictness (tanattu') leads to destruction, and I seek refuge in Allah. It is sufficient for us what was sufficient for the earliest predecessors.
