What is the ruling on the takbir on the night of the festival in a collective manner?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is the ruling on the takbir on the night of the festival in a collective manner?

The Shaykh : The takbir on the night of the festival is a recommended practice (sunnah) based on the saying of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He). After mentioning the verses of fasting, He said:
and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful. وَلِتُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا اللَّهَ عَلَى مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
[Al-Baqarah 2:185]
But every person should recite the takbir individually.
Collective takbir has no basis in the Sunnah. Rather, the Companions would recite the takbir, with each person reciting it for himself. Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
We went out with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on Hajj, and some of us would recite the takbir and some of us would recite the talbiyah. خرجنا مع النبي صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم في الحج فمنا المكبر ومنا المهل
This indicates that they did not recite the takbir collectively.

The questioner : May Allah bless you.
