The reader: And Munjib ibn al-Harith al-Tamimi narrated to us, saying: Ibn Miskhin informed us from al-A'mash from Ibrahim from Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid from Alqamah ibn Qays from Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
If anyone recites the two verses at the end of Surah al-Baqara at night, they would suffice for him من قرأ هاتين الآيتين من آخر سورة البقرة في ليلة كفتاه

Abd al-Rahman said: "Then I met Abu Mas'ud while he was circumambulating the House, so I asked him about it, and he narrated it to me from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)".
