The reciter: And Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated, Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated, Ibn Jurayj narrated, saying: I heard Ata say: I heard Ubayd ibn 'Umayr say: A man I trust narrated to me, and I thought he meant Aisha,
That the sun was eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so he stood up in a severe standing, standing up, then bowing, then standing up, then bowing, then standing up, then bowing, two rak'ahs in three bowings and four prostrations, then he finished, and the sun had cleared. And when he bowed, he would say: Allahu Akbar, then he would bow, and when he raised his head, he would say: Allah hears the one who praises Him. So he stood up, praised Allah and extolled Him, then he said: The sun and the moon do not eclipse for the death of anyone or for his life, but they are among the signs of Allah, by which Allah frightens His servants. So when you see an eclipse, remember Allah until it clears.
