Continuation of the Explanation of the Hadith of Abu Musa: It was said that the sun was eclipsed during the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so he stood up in alarm, fearing that the Hour had come, until he reached the mosque and stood up.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Is the meaning of that the Day of Resurrection, or is it the Hour of Punishment, fearing that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) would send down punishment upon the Ummah? Or is it that the narrator imagined that due to the intensity of his alarm, it was like the alarm of one who fears that the Hour has already begun? And there remains a fourth possibility that he feared it to be the Hour, which is the Day of Resurrection. This fourth possibility is not valid because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) knew that the Hour has signs and indicators that precede it, and that it would not occur on that day. So what remains for us is: is it the Hour of Punishment, or did the narrator imagine that his alarm was great, like the alarm of one who fears that the Hour has come?
And his saying: "fearing that the Hour had come until he reached the mosque," it has been mentioned to us previously that he ordered a caller to call out, saying: "The prayer is gathered."
