Continuation of the chapter on explaining the forms of entering the state of ihram, and that it is permissible to perform Hajj alone, or to combine 'Umrah and Hajj with a break between them, or to combine 'Umrah and Hajj in one ihram, and the permissibility of adding Hajj to 'Umrah, and when the one who combines them exits from his rites

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And that you enter the state of ihram for Hajj, but this is not what is intended. So his saying:
Leave the 'Umrah دعي العمرة
means: leave its actions.
As evidenced by the fact that he said to her:
Your tawaf of the House and your sa'y between al-Safa and al-Marwah suffice for your Hajj and your 'Umrah. طوافك بالبيت وبالصفا والمروة يسعك لحجك وعمرتك
So the intended meaning of his saying:
Leave the 'Umrah دعي العمرة
is: leave its actions.
She said: So I did. When we had completed Hajj, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent me with 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr to al-Tan'īm, so I performed 'Umrah.
