The Reciter: And Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Numayr narrated, saying: Ishaq ibn Sulayman narrated, from Aflah ibn Hamid, from al-Qasim, from 'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: Sahih Muslim 1211m.
The Shaykh : Do I not have what you said? I only heard "I heard about the 'Umrah."
The reader:Sahih Muslim 1211m
The Shaykh : Do you have this?
The Students: Some of them said: No, we do not have it, and some of us have it between parentheses.
The Shaykh : Yes, fine, the second copy is written, the second copy, the second copy, write it down.
The Student: A comment, O Shaykh?
The Shaykh : What does it say?
The Student: The Qadi said: It is narrated by the majority, it is narrated by Muslim, and some of them narrated it: "So he forbade the 'Umrah," and that is the correct one.
The Shaykh : Yes, I have this, it says: "And that is the correct one," end of al-Nawawi, and it is the wording of al-Bukhari: "So he forbade."
The Reciter: And I have this, this is what I have. So he forbade the 'Umrah, he saidSahih Muslim 1211m
The Shaykh : In this hadith there is an addition to what came before of consolation, in it is also hope,Sahih Muslim 1211m and this allows that the intended meaning of is by the reward and the wage, and it allows that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) thought that she would persist in asking for the 'Umrah until she obtained it.
And in his saying also: "I will not pray," is evidence for arguing, for the thing by its necessary consequence, its aspect,
The Reciter: That the necessary consequence of menstruation is leaving the prayer.
The Shaykh : That the necessary consequence of the presence of menstruation is leaving the prayer.
She said: So I went out in my Hajj until we stopped at Mina, and I purified myself, then we circumambulated the House, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) descended to the Muhassab, so he called for 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr, and he said:Sahih Muslim 1211m She said: So we went out, and I entered the state of ihram, then I circumambulated the House and between al-Safa and al-Marwah, so we came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was in his dwelling in the middle of the night, and he said: I said: Yes, so he gave the signal to his companions to depart, so he went out and passed by the House, and he circumambulated it before the Fajr prayer, then he went out to Madinah.
We proceeded with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) putting on the Ihram for Hajj during the months of Hajj and the night of Hajj till we encamped at Sarif. He (the Holy Prophet) went to his Companions and said: He who has no sacrificial animal with him, in his case I wish that he should perform Umra (with this Ihram), and he who has the sacrificial animal with him should not do it. So some of them performed Hajj whereas others who had no sacrificial animals with them did not do (Hajj, but performed only 'Umra). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had a sacrificial animal with him and those too who could afford it (performed) Hajj). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to me (i. e. A'isha) while I was weeping, and he said: What makes you weep? I said: I heard your talk with Companions about Umra. He said: What has happened to you? I said: I do not observe prayer
The Shaykh : Do I not have what you said? What has happened to you? I said: I do not observe prayer (due to the monthly period), whereupon he said: It would not harm you; you should perform (during this time) the rituals of Hajj (which you can do outside the House). Maybe Allah will compensate you for this. You are one among the daughters of Adam and Allah has ordained for you as He has ordained for them. So I proceeded on (with the rituals of Hajj)
The Shaykh : In this hadith there is an addition to what came before of consolation, in it is also hope,
