The Book of Marriage, Breastfeeding, Divorce, Mutual Oath-Swearing, and Manumission-01b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Numayr narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to us, saying: 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Umar narrated to us, saying: Al-Rabi' ibn Subayrah al-Juhani told me that his father told him
that while he was with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) he said: O people, I had permitted you to contract temporary marriage with women, but Allah has forbidden it (now) until the Day of Resurrection. So he who has any (woman with this type of marriage contract) he should let her off, and do not take back anything you have given to them (as dower).
Sahih Muslim 1406d
.

The Shaykh : This is explicit, because this abrogating ruling will not change, because this is a report from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) until the Day of Resurrection, and it cannot be made lawful after this. Because if it were assumed that it was made lawful after this, this report would not be truthful, and the report of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is truthful in the present and in the future.
