The reciter: Sahih Muslim 1428e 'Asim and Ibn 'Abd al-A'la added in their narration: He said: He said: Then he counted three, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to enter, and he found the people sitting. Then they stood up and left. He said: So I came and informed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that they had left. He said: Then he came until he entered, and I went to enter, but he cast the curtain between me and him. He said: And Allah the Exalted revealed: "O you who believe! Do not enter the houses of the Prophet except when you are permitted to enter for food, not anticipating its serving," until He said: "Indeed, that is a great sin in the sight of Allah.".
And 'Amr al-Naqid narrated to me, saying: Ya'qub ibn Ibrahim ibn Sa'd narrated to me.
he invited people (to the wedding feast) and they ate food. They then sat there and entered into conversation. He (the Holy Prophet) made a stir as if he was preparing to stand up, but (the persons busy in talking) did not stand up. When he (the Holy Prophet) saw it, he stood up and when he did so, some other persons stood up.
