The Reciter: Muhammad ibn Hatim ibn Maymun narrated to us, saying: Bahz narrated to us. And Muhammad ibn Rafi' narrated to me, saying: Abu al-Nadr Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us. Both of them said: Sulayman ibn al-Mughirah narrated to us from Thabit from Anas. This is the hadith of Bahz, in which he said: When the waiting period of Zaynab had ended, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Zayd: "Mention her to me." He said: So Zayd went until he came to her, and she was kneading her dough. He said: When I saw her, she became great in my chest until I could not look at her, because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had mentioned her. So I turned my back to her and retreated on my heels, and I said: "O Zaynab, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has sent me to mention you." She said: "I am not going to do anything until I consult my Lord." So she stood up and went to her place of prayer, and the Qur'an was revealed. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came and entered upon her without permission. He said: And I saw that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) fed us bread and meat when the day had lengthened. The people went out, and some men remained talking in the house after the meal. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went out, and I followed him. He began to go around the rooms of his wives, greeting them, and they would say: "O Messenger of Allah, how did you find your family?" He said: I do not know whether I informed him that the people had gone out, or he informed me. He said: So he went until he entered the house. I tried to enter with him, but he cast the curtain between me and him, and the Hijab was revealed. He said: And he admonished the people with what they were admonished with. Ibn Rafi' added in his narration: "Do not enter the houses of the Prophet unless you are given permission to eat, without waiting for it to be prepared," until his saying: "And Allah is not shy to state the truth.".
