The Fifth Research: On the Difference Between His Saying, the Exalted, (What My Hands Created) and His Saying, the Exalted, (What Our Hands Have Made).

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : It remains to be said: Is it the Fifth Research or the Sixth? The Fifth: What is the difference between His saying:
to that which I created with My hands
[Sad 38:75]
where we stated that the verse indicates that Allah created Adam with His hand, and His saying, the Exalted:
Do they not see that We have created for them from what Our hands have made, grazing livestock, and [then] they are their owners?
[Ya-Sin 36:71]
We said the difference between them is from three angles:
The first angle: That Allah attributed the action to Himself in His saying:
to that which I created with My hands
[Sad 38:75]
and He made the hand in the position of a tool with which He creates, whereas in "what our hands have made," He attributed the action to the hands themselves.
Second: That Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, said:
to that which I created with My hands
[Sad 38:75]
in the dual form, and
and from what Our hands have made
in the plural form, so there must be a difference. The difference is that the intended meaning of "our hands" is the Self, just as He said, the Exalted:
for what your hands have earned
[Ash-Shuraa 42:30]
meaning "by what you have earned," so the meaning of the verse is "what we have made."
The third angle: That Allah, the Exalted, said regarding the creation of Adam:
I created with My hand
so He said "I created," and there He said:
from what (they) have made مما عملت
so He made it an action, and action is by the word, and likewise creation is by the word. But when He differentiated between them, it became known that they are not the same, and that is the case. For this reason, the scholars agreed that livestock, such as camels, horses, and the like, which are ridden and eaten, were not created by Allah with His hand, but rather He created them by the word, Glorified and Exalted is He. Accordingly, livestock are not created by the hand, but are created by the word, not by the hand.
