everything he hears بكل ما سمع
And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is truthful. So if a person is a chatterbox who talks about everything he hears, his stumbles will increase. For this reason, it was said: "Whoever speaks much, his errors increase".
This is a tested and observed reality. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade "so-and-so said" and "so-and-so said." If a person's only concern is "so-and-so said this" and "so-and-so said that," this wastes his time and leads to many problems. You yourself may narrate a hadith you heard from someone, and then it becomes clear that that person was mistaken. What is your standing then? Answer: You narrated a hadith from a person, and it became clear that he was mistaken. What is your standing then? You fall into difficulty and your rank among people decreases.
