Mentioning the reason Imam Muslim compiled his Sahih.

The Shaykh : As you read in the beginning of Sahih Muslim, it appears as if he is addressing a man who asked him to compile a book on hadith, so he speaks to him in this manner. However, I have not seen any reference to this man. Have you come across anything regarding him? Or did he merely imagine or conceive that a man had asked him, and so he addressed him as if he were present?
