What is the ruling on one who applies the texts of warning to one who deems that act permissible?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is your opinion regarding one who applies this hadith to the one who deems this act permissible?

The Shaykh : This is incorrect. Anyone who applies the hadiths of warning or the verses of warning to the one who deems it permissible is making an application that is actually laughable. For this reason, "When it was said to Imam Ahmad: 'Allah the Exalted said:
But whoever kills a believer intentionally - his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him and has cursed him and has prepared for him a great punishment. ومن يقتل مؤمنًا متعمدًا فجزاؤه جهنم خالداً فيها وغضب الله عليه ولعنه وأعد له عذاباً عظيماً
[An-Nisa 4:93]
' it was said to him: 'So-and-so says: This is for the one who deems the killing of a believer permissible.' Imam Ahmad laughed and said: 'Glory be to Allah! The one who deems the killing of a believer permissible has earned this warning, whether he killed him or not.'"

Applying this to the one who deems it permissible is a great error, because the one who deems it permissible is subject to the warning even if he does not commit the act. This is analogous to applying the texts regarding the disbelief of the one who abandons prayer to the one who abandons it by denying its obligation. This is an error and a mistake, because the one who denies its obligation is a disbeliever, even if he prays.
Thus, the one who interprets the texts indicating the disbelief of the one who abandons prayer by applying them to the one who abandons it by denying its obligation has committed a transgression against the text in two ways: the first is that he diverted it from its apparent meaning, and the second is that he attributed to it a meaning that its apparent meaning does not indicate.
