The Shaykh's retraction of what he said in al-Wasitiyyah and his preference for what he mentioned in al-Qawa'id al-Muthla regarding the meaning of the saying of Allah the Exalted

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : So this contradicts what we mentioned in, in al-Wasitiyyah, that the hand of Allah is over their hands in its literal sense, and that the intended meaning is not the hand of the Messenger. We clarified that this is impossible from two angles:
The first angle is that Allah attributed it to Himself, and the principle is that the attribute belongs to the one to whom it is attributed.
The second, the second is that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) does not place his hand over their hands, but rather extends it to them so that they pledge allegiance to him, as 'Amr ibn al-'As said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Extend your hand so that I may pledge allegiance to you ابسط يدك فلأبايعك
And what we mentioned in the explanation of al-'Aqidah al-Wasitiyyah is undoubtedly a possible interpretation. Therefore, we are, I mean, hesitating between the intended meaning being what we mentioned previously and the intended meaning being what we mentioned in al-Qawa'id al-Muthla.
And the one in al-Qawa'id al-Muthla is closer to what? To the apparent meaning of the wording.
"The fifteenth example: The saying of Allah the Exalted in the Qudsi Hadith:
O son of Adam ... يا بن آدم ...
to the end of it"
