The questioner : His second question says: In the morning, I was sleeping and woke up from my sleep around ten in the morning, and no one woke me up until I prayed the Fajr prayer. Is it permissible to pray the Fajr prayer at this time, and what am I supposed to do to make expiation for myself, since the time for prayer has passed me by?

The Shaykh : It is permissible for you to pray the Fajr prayer if you wake up, even if it is ten o'clock, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
Whoever sleeps through a prayer or forgets it, let him pray it when he remembers it. من نام عن صلاة أو نسيها فليصلها إذا ذكرها
. And there is no expiation upon you other than this; this is its expiation. However, it is obligatory for a person who has no one to wake him up to be cautious when he sleeps by placing an alarm clock near him, set for the time when the prayer time enters, so that he wakes up and performs what Allah has made obligatory upon him of prayer in its time.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : Yes.
