The Shaykh :"And because of this, it was impossible for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to neglect it and not clarify it with a clear explanation that removes doubt and refutes suspicion, and the proof of its impossibility is from several angles". Do you see, we are discussing the Science of Theology, or rather the Science of Creeds. Do you see that it contains many rational matters? It contains rational matters, and the truth is that reliance on transmitted texts is the foundation in this regard. But the Muslim community has been afflicted by people who argue with doubts they claim are rational, when they are actually illusory if they contradict the Book and the Sunnah. Therefore, we must enter into this field with them so that we can proceed, because if you argue with them using texts, they say, "This is an apparent meaning that allows for figurative interpretation," and "This is an apparent meaning that allows for figurative interpretation," and then they lead people into labyrinths. Yes, into great labyrinths. And, may Allah protect us, they only want leadership; they only want the common people to follow them. They do not want that; they do not want the face of Allah or the clarification of the truth. They only want the common people to follow them, so they bring out long, strange, and odd words. When the common person hears them, his skin crawls, and he says, "This is the truth." ... He said, "Abu Hurayrah said," and "This is the great intellect, this is what Allah has measured with true measure; we follow only this." And because of this, many scholars were deceived by them, even the caliphs were deceived by them. Yes.
He says, "clarify with a clear explanation that removes doubt". And where does doubt reside? In the heart. "and refutes suspicion", and its place is the tongue, because what is meant by suspicion here is the arguments and the doubts that these people throw at people to lure them. He says, "And the proof of its impossibility is from several angles: The first, yes."
