The Shaykh : He says: "And as for the indication of the fitrah (the innate natural disposition) regarding the establishment of the attributes of perfection for Allah, the indication of the fitrah is because sound souls are created and disposed to love Allah, to magnify Him, and to worship Him". Every sound heart and sound fitrah (the innate natural disposition) is disposed to love Allah, to magnify Him, and to worship Him. Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said: [Al-Isra 17:44] So does everything worship Allah? Yes. [Al-Hajj 22:18] So, the souls with sound fitrah (the innate natural disposition) are disposed to love Allah, to magnify Him, and to worship Him. For this reason, it is established in the Qudsi hadith that Allah says: Sahih Muslim 2865a So is the corruption of the soul and the fitrah (the innate natural disposition) acquired or original? It is acquired. So the sound fitrah (the innate natural disposition) is disposed to love its Creator, to magnify Him, and to worship Him. Sahih al-Bukhari 1385 But "would they love, magnify, and worship anyone except one whom they know possesses the attributes of perfection befitting His lordship and divinity?"? The answer is no. The answer is no. It is not possible to love, magnify, or worship anyone except one whom you know possesses the attributes of perfection in order to worship Him with them. And for this reason, Ibrahim (peace be upon him) said to his father: [Maryam 19:42] And he said to his people: [Al-Anbya 21:66] So it is not possible for souls to worship anyone except one whom they know possesses the attributes by which He deserves to be worshipped. And this is an apparent matter. When you say, "O Lord, forgive me," you believe in His lordship, you believe that He forgives, you believe that He knows, you believe that He hears your supplication, and you believe that He is able to answer your request, is that not so? If it were not for this, you would not supplicate to Allah. So the souls are disposed to this. Look at the souls; when the souls are free from impurities, even the souls of disbelief, when they are lost from what they used to fabricate, whom do they call upon in times of distress? They call upon Allah, sincere to Him in religion. Because all impurities are torn apart in this state, and the fitrah (the innate natural disposition) returns to its origin, which is calling upon Allah (Mighty and Majestic) alone, with no partner for Him. And it is known that they do not call upon Allah in times of hardship except while knowing that He is able to remove it and eliminate it; otherwise, that would be futile on their part. So it becomes clear by this that the fitrah (the innate natural disposition) indicates that Allah the Exalted possesses what? The attributes of perfection befitting Him. Yes.
