Explanation of the author's statement: "And among the proofs of the Sunnah is His saying (peace and blessings be upon him): 'The hand of Allah is full, pouring forth night and day'"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And among the proofs of the Sunnah is His saying (peace and blessings be upon him)
The hand of Allah is full
"
Allah is the Greatest. The hand of Allah is full. What does 'full' mean? It means filled.
No spending diminishes it
Just as nothing diminishes His knowledge (Mighty and Majestic), so nothing diminishes His giving. Allah the Exalted says in the Holy Hadith:
O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to rise up in one place and make a request of Me, and were I to give everyone what he requested, that would not decrease what I have, any more that a needle decreases the sea if put into it.
Sahih Muslim 2577a
Allah is the Greatest... The Atlantic Ocean. If I dip a needle in it, the ships would remain floating on the land because the needle would have drunk up the entire sea, or not? And what would be diminished from the sea? Nothing. This is an exaggeration in negation, an exaggeration in negation, meaning that nothing ever diminishes what is with Me. If dipping the needle in the sea diminished it, then this would diminish Me, and it is obvious to everyone that the answer is that it does not diminish it.
So then,
Allah's Hand is full, and (its fullness) is not affected by the continuous spending
Sahih al-Bukhari 4684
, then the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) gave us an example, saying:
Sahaa
"Sahaa" is the one who gives abundantly and does not hold back, contrary to the statement of the Jews:
The hand of Allah is chained
[Al-Ma'idah 5:64]
May Allah curse them, and the statement of some of them:
Indeed, Allah is poor, while we are rich.
[Ali 'Imran 3:181]
,
Sahaa, night and day
By Allah, night and day. Night and day, and people are sleeping in it. Among the creations of Allah, there are those who do not subsist except at night, or not? Who provides for them? Allah the Exalted. And how many are there who do not live except at night and do not find their sustenance except at night? Then you are sleeping here, and on the other continent, people are living. So the hand of Allah is Sahaa, night and day. Then He said:
Have you seen what He has spent since He created the heavens and the earth?
Sahih Ibn Hibban 7:120
Count it for me. Is it a little or a lot? Only He who gave it, Glorified and Exalted is He, can count it.
Have you seen what He has spent since He created the heavens and the earth?
Sahih Ibn Hibban 7:120
And this is a matter that only the Lord (Mighty and Majestic) can count.
and what is in His right hand has not decreased?
Sahih Muslim 993b
So in this hadith, the two hands are affirmed for Allah the Exalted, yes?
The student: ...

The Shaykh : Yes, just as He said the Exalted:
Allah knows what every female carries and what the wombs lose
[Ar-Ra'd 13:8]
And He said the Exalted:
And the water subsided, and the matter was accomplished, and the ship came to rest on the [mountain of] Judiyy
[Hud 11:44]
So He has not diminished what is in His right hand, all this that He has spent since He created the heavens and the earth. And what He spends from the time of the Messenger until the Day of Resurrection, does it diminish? What Allah the Exalted spends from the time of the Messenger until the Day of Resurrection does not diminish, because He said at the beginning that no spending diminishes it until the Day of Resurrection. And Allah knows best.
