Explanation of the author's statement: "Chapter on the Increase and Decrease of Faith: From the Principles of the People of the Sunnah and the Community

The Shaykh : Then he said: "Chapter: On the Increase and Decrease of Faith.
It is one of the principles of the People of the Sunnah and the Community that faith increases and decreases, and the Book and the Sunnah have indicated this".
I think it is not hidden from you that deeds are included in faith, or not? Well, if the deeds increase, faith increases without doubt, and if they decrease, it decreases.
"Among the evidence from the Book is the saying of Allah the Exalted:

that they would increase in faith along with their [present] faith

ليزدادوا إيماناً مع إيمانهم

[Al-Fath 48:4]

" And He the Exalted said: And He the Exalted said: .
"And among the proofs from the Sunnah is the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding women:

I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you.

ما رأيت من ناقصات عقل ودين أذهب للب الرجل الحازم من إحداكن

And the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke the truth. A person, for example, desires a horse, desires a car, desires a camel, desires a house, but that desire does not take over his feelings, his mind, and his fitrah (innate natural disposition). But he desires a woman, yes? And it takes over his feelings and his mind until he acts in pursuit of this woman in a way that if someone else did it, he would condemn him, yes? And this is a confirmation of the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): .
You find this, and may Allah protect us, that a woman pleases him in his soul, so he follows her in the markets and strives to hear her speech and the like.
And this is without doubt a deficiency in intellect and a deficiency in religion. So the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said - O 'Abd al-Rahman - : 'Lub' means? Intellect. What is it? Any man. The one who has the prudence and intellect that prevents him from bad behavior, and yet his intellect goes in the direction of women.
And the point of this hadith is his saying: The point is in religion or intellect? Religion.
The women (may Allah be pleased with them) said: O Messenger of Allah, what is the deficiency in intellect and what is the deficiency in religion? Yes? The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Or he said: They said: Yes. He said: . They said: Yes. He said: Because her deed now has become less than the deeds of men, so this is a deficiency in religion.
I ask: Did those women stand up and scream in the face of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), saying you have wronged and acted unjustly, women are the counterparts of men, why do you describe them as deficient in intellect and religion, hmm? Or did they say: We are pleased with Allah as our Lord and with Islam as our religion, this is what happened, this is what happened.
But the leaders of disbelief and the followers of the leaders of disbelief now and before now say: This is an abhorrent matter, we do not agree, and we do not accept that the woman is deficient in intellect and religion. Rather, they say: Religion is not something for us, and let her be deficient in religion, it does not matter, but intellect, we never allow you to say she is deficient in intellect. Is your sister, from your mother and father, deficient in intellect? Yes? The counterparts of men and the daughters of Adam, do you not fear Allah? You say: Deficient in intellect. She must be equal to the man in all works, even in matters of politics, administration, and war, and other things. And yet, if she were in war, if a handsome man winked at her, she would say this opinion is with this man, and that is enough, this man is successful and wise, whatever he says is the truth. And if she had some kind of intellect, she would remain silent but agree with him in another council, saying it is his opinion.
So how do we say that such a woman who has this emotion, and this is a matter that is not denied, no one can deny it, is like the prudent, intelligent, steadfast, and firm man?
More than that now, when they throw out words and speeches, they say: My ladies and my gentlemen. Some of them say to me at the doors of the bathrooms: Bathroom for ladies, next to it bathroom for men. Say it for the gentlemen, since you said it for the ladies, justice is to say it for the gentlemen, and since you said it for the men, say it for the women. But all this is from blind imitation of the West, whether they say it out of ignorance or because they are impressed by their corrupt culture, which now, as the trustworthy ones have informed us, they now wish to get rid of what they are in, but they are incapable. So the bones of the rotten cultures have begun, and some Muslims now are devouring them, regardless of the worms, evil, and impurities in them, yes.
And this is a matter whose defense is on the shoulders of the youth, the shoulders of the Muslim youth who are cultured with a religious culture received from the Book of his Lord and the Sunnah of his Prophet.
And there is no blame on us to say the word of truth without violence, so we present the truth and clarify it, and we, praise be to Allah, are confident in the correctness of what we say, that the woman is deficient in intellect and religion. And for this belief based on the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, for that reason we had more mercy for her than those have, and we protected her more than those protect her, and we placed her in the rank befitting her of compassion, gentleness, and softness more than those place her, until the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said: meaning regarding women, so he compared them to the vase that breaks with movement and shaking.
And we bear witness to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and His angels and whoever heard this speech of ours that we say and see that it is obligatory for every believer to say what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: That they are , and that it is foolishness, error, danger, and mistake to entrust to them the general administration of the Muslims. As for the administration of homes and houses, that is for them, because the woman is a shepherd in her husband's house and is responsible for her flock.
