The Shaykh : For this reason, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Traveling is a kind of torture السفر قطعة من العذاب
Sahih al-Bukhari 5429
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed that the deceased is afflicted by the weeping of his family over him, because being pained by something, suffering from it, and being annoyed by it is a type of affliction. Yes, and they do not mean by "affliction" here the punishment in the Hereafter.
