The Shaykh : And from this hadith we derive its benefits, for its meaning is clear. Among its benefits is that menstrual blood is ritually impure, because when he mentioned its purification by the degrees you heard, he said: This indicates that it is necessary to remove it before prayer, and it indicates that it is ritually impure.
And among the benefits of this hadith is that a small amount of it is not excused, due to his saying: This generally only occurs with a small amount, whereas a large amount must be wiped off with the palm, meaning with the entire palm. However, the small amount is what is removed by pinching. Thus, this hadith is evidence that a small amount of menstrual blood is not excused. As for the remaining types of blood, the stronger opinion is that they are not ritually impure. The bloods that come out of a human being are not ritually impure, because up to this moment I have not found any evidence indicating impurity. It is established that the original state of things is purity unless there is evidence to the contrary. We mentioned, in the hadith of Sunan Abi Dawud 2858Sahih (Al-Albani), that the rule requires that it not be impure, because the human body is pure, so whatever separates from it during his life remains pure, just as if we cut off one of his hands, for example, or one of his feet, it would be pure.
