The Shaykh : In this, there are benefits: First: choosing one with a beautiful voice for the adhan. Second: it is befitting for the one in authority to teach the mu'adhdhins how to call to prayer, either through courses, meaning he establishes courses in every town for a period of one week, two weeks, one month, or two months, according to what the need requires. The evidence for this is his saying:
So he taught him the adhan فعلمه الأذان
And he did not limit himself to Abu Mahdhura hearing the adhan from Bilal, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught him himself.
And from the benefits of the hadith: there is no harm for the supreme imam in teaching the general public, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught Abu Mahdhura the adhan himself. He does not elevate himself and say: let one of the people teach it, but he teaches it himself, following the example of whom?
