Benefits of the Hadith: (Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Bilal was commanded to make the adhan in pairs...)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : In this hadith, there is evidence for several benefits, among which is: that the adhan of Bilal is prescribed by the command of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), as indicated by his saying:
He commanded Bilal أمر بلال
And among them is: the great status of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) in the eyes of the Companions, and that he is the one who commands and forbids among them, such that no command is understood to be from anyone other than the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). And among them is: the difference between the adhan and the iqamah, for the phrases of the adhan are more numerous than those of the iqamah, because the iqamah is generally for people who are already present, while the adhan is for people who are in their homes. And we said "generally" because the iqamah may be for someone who is not in the mosque, as evidenced by the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family):
When you hear the Iqama, proceed to offer the prayer إذا سمعتم الإقامة فامشوا إلى الصلاة
Sahih al-Bukhari 636
And another difference between the adhan and the iqamah is that the mu'adhdhin recites the adhan in a flowing manner.
