The ruling on sending blessings upon the Prophet after the adhan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: A question from: M. Q- from Jordan, in which he says: What some people do among us in Jordan and in some other countries, where the mu'adhdhin says after the adhan: "O Allah, send blessings upon our master Muhammad, and upon his family and all his companions," is there anything wrong with that? And what is its ruling?

A: This matter requires detail: If the mu'adhdhin says that in a low voice, then it is prescribed for the mu'adhdhin and for others who respond to the mu'adhdhin; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
When you hear the mu’adhdhin repeat what he says, then invoke a blessing on me, for everyone who invokes one blessing on me will receive ten blessings from God. Then ask God to give me the wasila , which is a rank in paradise fitting for only one of God’s servants, and I hope that I may be the one. If anyone asks that I be given the wasila , he will be assured of my intercession.
Mishkat al-Masabih 657
It was narrated by Muslim in his Sahih, and al-Bukhari narrated in his Sahih from Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever after listening to the Adhan says, 'Allahumma Rabba hadhihi-dda` watit-tammah, was-salatil qa'imah, ati Muhammadan al-wasilata wal-fadilah, wa b`ath-hu maqaman mahmudan-il-ladhi wa`adtahu' [O Allah! Lord of this perfect call (perfect by not ascribing partners to You) and of the regular prayer which is going to be established, give Muhammad the right of intercession and illustriousness, and resurrect him to the best and the highest place in Paradise that You promised him (of)], then my intercession for him will be allowed on the Day of Resurrectionمن قال حين يسمع النداء: اللهم رب هذه الدعوة التامة والصلاة القائمة، آت محمدا الوسيلة والفضيلة، وابعثه مقاما محمودا الذي وعدته؛ حلت له شفاعتي يوم القيامة
Sahih al-Bukhari 614
.
As for if the mu'adhdhin says that in a raised voice like the adhan, then that is a religious innovation; because it gives the impression that it is part of the adhan, and adding to the adhan is not permissible, because the last word of the adhan is "La ilaha illa Allah" (There is no god but Allah), so it is not permissible to add to that. And if that were good, the righteous Salaf would have preceded us to it. Rather, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught it to his Ummah and prescribed it for them. And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
He who did any act for which there is no sanction from our behalf, that is to be rejected.من عمل عملا ليس عليه أمرنا فهو رد
Sahih Muslim 1718b
It was narrated by Muslim in his Sahih, and its original source is in the two Sahihs from the hadith of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her).
And I ask Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) to increase us and you and all our brothers in understanding of His religion, and to grant us all steadfastness upon it. Indeed, He is the All-Hearing, the Near.
And peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
