And the answer of Abraham's people was not but that they said, "Kill him or burn him,"
فما كان جواب قومه إلا أن قالوا اقتلُوه أو حرِّقُوهAmong its benefits is the clarification of the tyranny of his people, where he guides them to the truth, and this becomes their response.
Among its benefits is that they differed over what to do with him, then they decided to burn him, based on combining this verse with the verse in Surat al-Anbiya
Burn him and support your gods
حرقوه وانصروا آلهتكمAmong its benefits is the perfection of the power of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), where this burning fire became coolness and peace for him, for this is among the signs of Allah indicating His power.
Among them is that whoever stands for Allah, Allah the Exalted saves him by his means of escape, meaning He saves him in the place of his destruction. Allah the Exalted said:
And Allah will save those who feared Him by their attainment
وَيُنَجِّي اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوا بِمَفَازَتِهِمْAmong its benefits is also that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) decrees matters for the salvation of His awliya (close friends of Allah) that do not occur to the mind, for what occurs to one's mind is that this great fire becomes coolness and peace, but Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) decrees for His awliya means of salvation that do not occur to their minds.
Among the benefits of this verse is the knowledge of inanimate objects of Allah, that inanimate objects know their Lord and submit to His command, for Allah said to this fire:
