The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: ((There the believers were tested and shaken with a severe shaking))

And it is derived from this noble verse, in His saying: [Al-Ahzab: 11], that it depicts the state of the believers at that moment, which was a great trial. This is a trial regarding the events that occurred and regarding their souls: were they stable? The answer is no. [Al-Ahzab 33:11] So the external trial, which is seen with the eye, and the internal trial, which is the shaking of the souls and their lack of stability, converged upon them. For this reason He said: [Al-Ahzab 33:11] Also in this noble verse is the explanation of the general rule, which is that Allah the Exalted mentions blessings attributed to Himself, and He mentions calamities generally in the passive voice. Because here He said: What caused that? It was from Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He. But in the context of good, Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, attributes the thing to Himself in praise. And in the context of the opposite, the verbs come in the passive voice. And look at the saying of the jinn: [Al-Jinn: 10]. So regarding evil, they said "was intended," and regarding guidance, they attributed it to Allah, Mighty and Majestic. Because evil is not attributed to Allah, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: So it is not permissible for a person to attribute evil to Allah ever. Evil is only in the created things, not in the act. Because the created things of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, have two aspects: one aspect considering them as the act of Allah, and one aspect considering their own essence. As for considering their own essence, that is, the essence of the created things, in them is good and evil in themselves. [Al-Falaq 1:2]. And as for considering them as the act of Allah, there is no clear evil in them. O brothers, considering them as the act of Allah, there is no evil in them. And considering their own essence, in them is good and evil. Considering the act, there is no evil in them, because Allah did not decree them except for a wisdom. Then if you reflect on the things that are evil, you will find that they include good, even if they are evil. The corruption in the land and the sea from drought, poverty, and other things is evil, but its outcome is good.
