Then Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Ahzab 33:30] It is derived from this noble verse that the sin of those who are close [to the Prophet] is more severe than the sin of those who are not close. From where is this taken? From the saying of Allah: [Al-Ahzab 33:30].
Among its benefits is the complete protection of the bed of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), because if a woman among his wives commits an obvious indecency, Allah doubles the punishment for her.
