The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “Say: Yes, by my Lord, it will surely come to you”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Among the benefits of this noble verse is the exaltation of the status of the Day of Resurrection, as Allah commanded His Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) to swear that it will occur
Say: Yes, by my Lord, it will surely come to you قل بلى وربي لتأتينكم
.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is the perfection of Allah’s (Mighty and Majestic) mercy toward His servants, in that He informed them of the resurrection and confirmed it with linguistic, conceptual, and sensory confirmations. This is because belief in the resurrection is what drives a person to perform the obedience of Allah. If there were no resurrection, a person would never work for the Hereafter. So we say that this is evidence of the mercy of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) toward the servants, that He confirms for them the resurrection in which there is recompense for deeds, so that they may work for this Day.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is that the Hour is entrusted to the knowledge of Allah, as He said
it will surely come to you. [Allah is] the Knower of the unseen لتأتينكم عالم الغيب
[Saba 34:3]
. It is thus a piece of the hidden news of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) that no one knows except Allah. The verses in this meaning and the hadiths are also numerous. So whoever claims to know the Hour is a denier of the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and the consensus of the Muslims.
