The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: ((They worked for him whatever He willed of shrines and statues and basins like mountains and cauldrons fixed in the ground. Work, O family of David, in gratitude, and few of My servants are grateful))

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The benefits of the verse that passed before us. Allah the Exalted said:
They made for him what he willed of elevated chambers
[Saba 34:13]
In this verse, there are benefits, among which is: that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) subjected the jinn to Sulayman to work for him whatever He willed, and this is not possible for any human being. Yes, perhaps the jinn do things for some humans, but it is not done according to what he wishes.
And among its benefits: the permissibility of high construction, due to His saying:
of shrines من محاريب

And among its benefits: the permissibility of statues. Do the statues include those of animals, trees, seas, and rivers? Yes, according to the author’s statement, it includes them, because he said: "This was before the prohibition of images" And according to the second possibility: it does not include them, because the term "statues" is applied to anything that is a representation of something else, and it is not necessary that it be in the form of an animal. So, according to the author’s opinion, the ruling is abrogated by the Shari'ah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and a benefit is derived from it, which is: the permissibility of abrogation in legal rulings. And according to the second possibility: it does not indicate the permissibility of animal statues.
And among the benefits of the noble verse: the indication of the abundance of Sulayman’s generosity and kindness, because the basins were like mountains and the cauldrons were fixed in the ground. Yes.
And among its benefits: the obligation of performing gratitude to Allah (Mighty and Majestic), due to His saying:
Work, O family of David, in gratitude.
[Saba 34:13]
And the command is originally for obligation.
And among its benefits: that the one who is grateful for the blessing is few, due to His saying:
And few of My servants are grateful.
[Saba 34:13]
And the intended meaning of this phrase is the exhortation to gratitude.
And among its benefits: the affirmation of general, comprehensive servitude, due to His saying:
of My servants من عبادي
And the intended meaning by it is general, comprehensive servitude.
And among its benefits: that Dawud (peace be upon him) is the father of a complete tribe from the Children of Israel, due to His saying:
Work, O family of David
[Saba 34:13]
Just as it is said "Banu Tamim" and "Banu Dhahrah" and the like.
Then he said:
And when We decreed for Solomon death
[Saba 34:14]
We have not completed it, I think. Yes, we will leave it, if Allah wills, for the future.
