Explanation of the saying of Allah the Exalted: ((They said: Glory be to You! You are our Lord, not them. But they used to worship the jinn; most of them believed in them.))

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
In the book of Tawhid, it is stated that one who affirms sorcery will not enter Paradise, even though sorcery is a reality and affirming it is a factual matter. However, what is meant by affirming it is practicing it and believing in it, meaning believing in what it produces, such that a person practices it himself, and affirming that sorcery has effects. This is a matter that cannot be denied. Yes.
Allah the Exalted said: This is the beginning of today's lesson.
But today you do not hold for one another [the power of] benefit or harm فَالْيَوْمَ لا يَمْلِكُ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ نَفْعًا وَلا ضَرًّا
[Saba 34:42]
There is something in it we would like to point out, which is His saying:
Did these [people] used to worship you?" أهؤلاء إياكم كانوا يعبدون
[Saba 34:40]
with the realization of both hamzas and replacing the first with a yaa. Understand this. In it is a warning. Some of the exegetes mentioned that the author made a mistake in this, and that the replacement of the yaa is not in the first one but in the second. Pay attention to this. That means there is no reading in which the first one is replaced with a yaa; rather, the replacement of the yaa is in the second one, not the first. So this is a mistake by the author (may Allah have mercy on him) or a slip of the pen.
The student: ...

The Shaykh :
Is it these that you أهؤلاء اياكم
Is it these (with yaa) that you أهؤلاي إياكم
.
The student: ...

The Shaykh : Do not pronounce it because it is moving. What is the limit?
Is it these that you أهؤلاء إياكم
Okay, also
