The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: ((And when Our clear verses are recited to them, they say, "What is this except a man who wants to turn you away from what your fathers used to worship?" And they say, "What is this except a lie fabricated?"))

Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, said: [Yunus 10:15] to the end of it. In this verse there are many benefits. First: that the revelation is a sign from the signs of Allah, Mighty and Majestic. The way it is a sign is from several angles:
First: that it baffled humans and non-humans, and this is evidence that it is from Allah.
Second: that its rulings are just and beneficial for hearts and bodies, for individuals and groups, in every time and in every place. This is not found in the speech of humans. The laws of humans, however great they may be, are only valid within a limited scope. You find that even though they are valid within a limited scope, they contain harmful matters that may equal the benefits in them, unlike the verses of Allah.
Third: the truthful news contained in the revelation, or specifically the Qur'an, which contains nothing that contradicts reality in any way, whether those news items are past, present, or future. This is the angle of it being from the signs of Allah.
And among the benefits of the noble verse: that the verses of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, are clear, with no obscurity in them. And so, as some scholars may find difficult some of the rulings of Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, the source is not that the revelation is obscure, but rather the deficiency of the one looking at the revelation or his negligence. His deficiency is such that he has no knowledge or no understanding, or his negligence is such that he does not seek it and does not seek understanding. Do you understand? Otherwise, the verses of Allah are clear, and no event can occur until the Day of Resurrection except that its explanation is in the Book of Allah the Exalted. But not everyone is able to discern it from the Qur'an. You find one verse recited by a group, and they reflect upon it. One of them derives many issues from it, while the other derives from it only one or two issues. This is an apparent and common matter. Often an issue is difficult for us, and we consult the books of scholars, jurists and others, and then upon reflection in the Book and the Sunnah, we find that it is close and present, either included in the generality of a word, or a hint, or an indication, or something similar. Good. The explanation of the verses is either by themselves or through the Sunnah. That is, the explanation of the verses in the Qur'an is either by themselves, being clear and evident, or through the Sunnah, which clarifies the general, explains the difficult, restricts the absolute, specifies the general, and abrogates the decisive. Is that so or not? This is a point of disagreement among scholars, and the correct view is that it abrogates that, because all of it is from Allah. Good. So we have understood the meaning of "clear," whether by itself or by the Sunnah explaining it. Allah the Exalted said: [al-Nahl: 44]. The Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, explained the Qur'an by his wording and his meaning, whether he explained it by his saying or by his doing.
And among the benefits of the noble verse: the clarification of the arrogance of the deniers of the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, where, despite these clear verses, they made this false claim, which is that the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, wants nothing but to turn them away from what their fathers used to worship.
And among the benefits of the noble verse: that there is no doubt for these deniers of the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, but rather it is transgression through false claims. For the utmost they have is to say: "This is what our fathers were upon." And this is not a proof, for the truth is what agrees with the Shari'ah, whether the fathers were upon it or not.
And among the benefits of the noble verse: the harshness of these deniers in crafting phrases or expressions indicating the belittling of the status of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, due to His saying:[Saba 34:43].
And among the benefits of the noble verse: that these deniers were upon misguidance, they and their fathers, where they worshipped that which does not benefit them and does not harm them, for they worshipped trees and stones. Yes, and they claimed that they benefit or harm, either by themselves or by their intercession.
And among the benefits of the noble verse: that they claimed that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, lied about Allah, due to His saying:. And this claim, they themselves deny it, for they used to call the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, "the Trustworthy" before revelation was sent to him, and they saw that he was the greatest of people in trustworthiness and truthfulness. So what turned him away from that description which you acknowledge, until you said that he fabricated against Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He?
And among the benefits of the noble verse: that we should not be surprised by one who argues with falsehood and claims false sayings. That is, there are people now who, if they reject something, start saying and fabricating about what he said things he did not say. They say he is a liar, that he is contradictory, that he did such and such, that he did such and such, while he is innocent of that. So these people have predecessors from those disbelievers.
And among the benefits of the noble verse: that what the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, brought of verses is the most eloquent, most expressive, and clearest of speech, due to His saying:[Saba 34:43]. They did not describe it as sorcery except because it takes hold of hearts and drags people to it, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Sahih al-Bukhari 5767.
And among the benefits of the noble verse: that whoever attributes lying to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, is a disbeliever, due to His saying:[Saba 34:43].
And among the benefits of the verse also: that these people claimed that the revelation was sorcery after it reached them and they knew it, due to His saying:. And they knew it to be truth, until their leaders would sneak away at night to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, to hear the Qur'an, because it took hold of the core of their hearts, and they came to love to listen to it. But zeal, and may Allah protect us, and partisanship prevented them from being guided by this Qur'an. Yes.
And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences
وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍFirst: that it baffled humans and non-humans, and this is evidence that it is from Allah.
