The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “And remember what is recited in your homes of the verses of Allah and wisdom”
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Then Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said: [Al-Ahzab: 34]. Among the benefits of this verse is the reminder of the Mothers of the Believers to this great blessing, which is—no one asks, and I am deriving the benefits—that the wives of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) are reminded of this great blessing, as He said: [Al-Ahzab 33:34].
Among its benefits is that whoever Allah has given knowledge, the demand for righteousness from him is more emphatic and more binding. When Allah gives a person knowledge, He demands more righteousness from him than from one who has not been given knowledge. So He said:[Al-Ahzab 33:34]. So there is no deficiency in your knowledge; rather, knowledge is recited in your homes.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is that the home in which the Book of Allah is recited is better than the home in which the Book of Allah is not recited, as He said:[Al-Ahzab 33:34]. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sunan Abi Dawud 2042Sahih (Al-Albani) meaning, do not make them like graves where you do not pray. And in the authentic hadith: Bulugh al-Maram 2:313. It was among the conduct of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) that you could hear from their homes the recitation of the Book of Allah, with a hum like the hum of bees from the reading of the Book of Allah the Exalted in the homes.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is that the Qur'an is among the verses of Allah, as He said:[Al-A'raf 7:26]. It has been previously explained in the exegesis that it is among the verses of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) because of the benefits, rulings, and secrets it contains.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is that when wisdom is coupled with the Book, the intended meaning is the Sunnah, because the Sunnah also contains wisdom. Allah (Mighty and Majestic) did not describe the Sunnah as wisdom because the Qur'an does not contain wisdom? No, but because the Qur'an is from Allah and is the speech of Allah, the possibility that it does not contain wisdom is remote. Is it not? It is very remote. But because the Sunnah is from the speech of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), the speech of humans may be subject to the possibility of not containing wisdom. So Allah (Mighty and Majestic) clarified that the Sunnah is wisdom, even though it is from the speech of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) or from his action, it is wisdom because it is in accordance with the truth.
And remember what is recited in your houses of the verses of Allah and wisdom. Indeed, Allah is ever Subtle and Acquainted [with all things].
And remember what is recited in your houses of the verses of Allah and wisdom

لا تجعلوا بيوتكم قبوراًThe most excellent prayer of a person is (that which he prays) in his house except that which is prescribed (the five congregational prayers).
أفضل صلاة المرء في بيته إلا المكتوبةAmong the benefits of this noble verse is that the Qur'an is among the verses of Allah, as He said:
