Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "And he who comes with the truth and believes in it, those are the righteous."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Then Allah the Exalted said:
And the one who has brought the truth and [they who] believed in it - those are the righteous. والذي جاء بالصدق وصدق به أولئك هم المتقون
[Az-Zumar 39:33]
he who الَّذِي
is a subject, and its predicate is the sentence
Those are the righteous أولئك هم المتقون
. This sentence contains two sentences: a major sentence and a minor sentence. The major sentence is composed of the subject and the predicate, and the minor sentence is the predicate composed of a subject and a predicate. The sentence that functions as the predicate is called a minor sentence because it is in the position of a singular noun. The major sentence is composed of a subject and a predicate, or a verb, its subject, and its object.
And His saying:
And the one who has brought the truth and [they who] believed in it - those are the righteous. والذي جاء بالصدق وصدق به أولئك هم المتقون
[Az-Zumar 39:33]
contains a point of difficulty that comes to mind, which is that He reported about
he who الَّذِي
, which is a singular noun, using the plural, namely His saying:
Those are the righteous أولئك هم المتقون
, and He did not say "those is the righteous one." The explanation for this is that
he who الَّذِي
is a relative pronoun, and the relative pronoun implies
The student: ...

The Shaykh : generality, even if it is singular, it implies generality. For this reason, it is correct to report about it using the plural, despite it being singular.
Allah Mighty and Majestic says:
And the one who has brought the truth and [they who] believed in it والذي جاء بالصدق وصدق به
[Az-Zumar 39:33]
And the one who has brought the truth والذي جاء بالصدق
[Az-Zumar 39:33]
is general and includes everyone who comes with the truth, from the messengers (peace be upon them all) and the prophets, the truthful ones, and others. Everyone who comes with the truth is included. An example of this is Ka'b ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), for he came with the truth when he lagged behind the expedition to Tabuk and reported the truth. Allah Mighty and Majestic commanded us to be with them. When He mentioned their story, He said:
O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with those who are true. يَاأيها الذين آمنوا اتقوا الله وكونوا مع الصادقين
[At-Tawbah 9:119]
. And His saying:
believes in it صدق به
means he believed in the truth for which evidence was established. And I think we do not need to explain the meaning of truth and lying. Truth is the correspondence of the report to reality, and lying is its contradiction. That is, whoever reports what corresponds to reality is truthful, and whoever reports what contradicts reality is a liar. And His saying: "believed in the truth" means in that for which evidence of its truth was established.
Those are the righteous أولئك هم المتقون
means those who feared Allah Mighty and Majestic, so they did not speak lies, and they feared Allah Mighty and Majestic, so they did not reject the truth.
